After serving as Head of Human Resources and Public Affairs & Communications (PAC), Stephen Bonnici was appointed Deputy General Manager in 2024. With his extensive expertise in human resources, he continues to drive key people-focused strategies, fostering a strong organizational culture, talent development, and workforce engagement. In his Deputy General Manager role, he plays a pivotal part in supporting the leadership team in shaping and executing the company’s operational strategy, objectives, policies, and budgets while ensuring HR remains at the core of business success.
Stephen continues to lead PAC, providing strategic counsel on corporate and brand reputation, beverage category positioning, and ingredient-related matters. His expertise is particularly focused on regulatory and taxation issues, ensuring that the company maintains a strong and transparent public image.
Additionally, he plays a vital leadership role within the company’s Incident Management and Crisis Resolution Team. He is responsible for overseeing incident management processes, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and ensuring the safety of consumers, employees, the environment, and company assets.
Stephen holds a Master of Business Administration in General and Strategic Management from the Maastricht School of Management. He also serves as Chairman of the Food and Beverage Processors Group within the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise, and Industry.
