Mr Zarb served as a partner with PwC until his retirement from the firm in 2014. He is a former President of the Malta Institute of Accountants and has served as Malta’s representative on the European Union Accounting Regulatory Committee and on the Accountancy Board for several years.

Mr Zarb is a former chairman of PG plc and a former director of MeDirect Bank SA (incorporated and operating in Belgium).

He currently sits on the boards of directors of a number of private and public companies, including the following issuers of listed securities: MeDirect Bank (Malta) plc and Tumas Investments plc , having securities listed on the Official List of the Malta Stock Exchange, and MDB Group Limited, the holding company of the MeDirect banking group, having subordinated notes admitted to the Official List of Euronext Dublin and to trading on the Global Exchange Market of Euronext Dublin.
