Mark Farrugia is the General Manager at The General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd. & GSD Marketing Ltd. A pragmatic and results-driven leader, he brings over 20 years of experience in the FMCG industry, including more than 15 years in senior management roles.

Before assuming his current position, Mark served as Head of Sales & Marketing at GSD. Prior to that, he was the Regional Director at Lidl Malta, where he played a pivotal role in establishing Lidl as the leading supermarket chain on the island. Under his leadership, Lidl became the first and only company in Malta to achieve the Top Employer Europe award for three consecutive years. His exceptional contributions were also recognized with the prestigious Chairman’s Award for Excellence & Outstanding Achievement in Business.

Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Banking & Finance from the University of Malta.
