Driving Sustainability in the Hospitality Sector
The Zero Waste HoReCa program has been instrumental in promoting sustainability within the local hospitality sector. By providing businesses with practical tools to reduce carbon emissions, water consumption, and waste, the initiative fosters a culture of accountability and innovation.
We are proud to partner with the Association of Catering Establishments, whose support has expanded the program’s reach, enabling more businesses to adopt sustainable practices. Their dedication has been key to advancing sustainability across the sector, and we sincerely thank them for their commitment.
Recognizing Excellence in Sustainability
Through the Seed Fund Competition, 40 businesses have received €500 each during the first two program phases to implement sustainability projects. Their commitment to reducing environmental impact sets an example for the industry, proving that economic success and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.
Beyond Business: A Collective Commitment to Sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond hospitality, supporting key environmental initiatives:
✅ EkoSkola’s Litterless Program – Empowering students to reduce waste and promote environmental stewardship.
✅ Nature Trust’s Turtle Rehabilitation – Supporting marine conservation and biodiversity.
✅ Żibel NGO’s Coastal Bins Initiative – Encouraging responsible waste disposal to protect Malta’s shores.
These efforts, made possible through The Coca-Cola Foundation, highlight how visionary ideas can drive real change in sustainability.
