At GSD, we believe that internships and apprenticeships are more than just work placements — they are opportunities to learn, grow, and begin building a career. By giving students the chance to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment, we open the door for them to apply their studies, develop new skills, and often, to continue their journey with us as full-time employees.

“I began my Advanced Diploma in Marketing in October 2022, during which I was required to complete an apprenticeship as part of the course. In March 2023, I was given the opportunity to join GSD as an apprentice within the Sales & Marketing, where I gained valuable experience in the FMCG sector. Towards the end of my apprenticeship in 2024, I was offered a part-time position by the Head of Sales and Marketing, who is now the General Manager, with the choice to continue in Sales or move into Marketing. This opportunity allowed me to further develop my skills while continuing my studies, with the company providing strong support to ensure I could successfully balance both. I am grateful to be part of such a structured and well-established organization, where I have the privilege of working alongside a talented team and dedicated managers.”
“My journey with GSD started while I was studying for the MCAST Advanced Diploma in Business Administration in 2022. In February 2023, I joined GSD as an Apprentice, where I spent nearly a year learning and gaining real-world experience across different areas of the company. The skills and confidence I built during that time gave me the opportunity to continue my journey here, and in February 2024 I was offered a part-time role as an HR Administrator. At the same time, I decided to further my studies and began the MCAST Level 6 Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Enterprise in October 2024. Thanks to my apprenticeship, I was able to bridge the gap between studying and working, and today I am proud to be part of the GSD team while continuing to grow academically and professionally.”
“In October 2024, I began my studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Malta, a course that combines my passion for technical work with a strong academic foundation. After my first scholastic, in July 2025, I started my part time job at GSD in the Technical Department. For me, this is an important step for my path as a future Engineer, since I will be able to apply what I am learning in the classroom directly to real-world challenges whilst gaining practical experience from professionals in the field. I am excited to develop my skills further and to contribute to the technical department at GSD, knowing that this opportunity will help shape and strengthen my career path in my Engineering career.”
